Burgundy is trending for autumn 2024 - and why not? It’s a gorgeous colour, and suits the changing season perfectly. So settle in and get cosy with these wonderful wine-coloured pieces.
We couldn’t start this list without mentioning one of our favourites: Cindy jeans by Paige Jeans. These are so versatile and a staple in our own wardrobes for every occasion. We can’t quite choose what we love most - the colour, the super-straight leg, the ultra-soft TRANSCEND denim, or the ankle-length cut!
If you’re the kind of person who loves to sink into a big fluffy jacket, then look no further than the Mercy jacket, complements of Shrimps Clothing. The chequered burgundy, pink and cream pattern makes this a real statement piece, while the luxurious faux fur encourages you to snuggle in. Perfect for even the coldest of days!
These dark burgundy velvet trousers are just stunning. Utterly chic and endlessly elegant, they’re high rise with an ankle-length silhouette. Though a relaxed fit, they work well for a workplace or a more formal event, especially when paired with a kitten heel and a silk blouse.
BA&SH has created the Meredith jacket in several colours, but we love the burgundy for this season. The rich colour, combined with gold-crafted buttons and a cropped cut, makes us rush to add this piece to our wardrobe. Wear it with high-waisted trousers and pair with a chunky statement belt for extra dazzle.
With a kissing-lips motif that is reminiscent of falling autumn leaves, the Nola blouse by Hofmann Copenhagen is a winner this season. This elegant blouse can be worn throughout the day or evening (or both!) and can be styled as you like. The small collar features a removable scarf that can be tied into an optional pussy bow, and the slightly transparent sleeves add a lovely additional layer of texture to this piece.
Your good taste doesn’t have to always be on full display, which is why we love the quirky Ewave socks by Essentiel Antwerp. The swirling pattern and striking orange and burgundy tones are giving us 60s vibes. These may not always be on show as part of your outfit, but they’ll provide the odd glimpse of fun!
With their pleated waistband, straight leg and rich burgundy colour, MDK’s Iris leather trousers are universally flattering and easy to pair with just about everything. Boots, heels, trainers, shirts, jumpers, t-shirts - you name it, it’ll go well with these trousers.
Chunky and quilted, the Jobig bag will be spacious enough for those ladies who like to make sure they’re prepared for absolutely anything. The zip-top tote is made of shiny burgundy ripstop nylon and has a double set of handles for additional strength. Perfect for carry-on luggage when you’re off to seek some autumn sun.
