French brand Hartford clothing was launched in 1979 in the United States by Yves Chareton, who grew up in the Landes region of France. His aim was to modernise American wardrobe classics by mixing European influences with a very west coast casual style.
The Hartford women's clothing collection borrows quality menswear fabrics to offer boho-inspired garments such as blouses, tops, dungarees, trousers and shorts and dresses.
Hartford clothing is made from the finest European fabrics, such as French linen and Italian cotton fabrics.
There’s always a cotton blouse plain or print in our Hartford collection. They are a wardrobe staple and very useful under a 360 cashmere or Des Petits Hauts knit. Or simply worn on its own with a pretty Une a Une necklace and a pair of Paige Mayslie joggers.
