Founder and creative director Jeff Abrams started Rails Clothing in 2008 with the idea of blending effortless southern Californian style with a European sophistication. His inspiration came while living and travelling around Europe on the Eurorail, hence the name. The love of travel is still woven into the Rails lifestyle, with new seasonal campaign shoots taking place across the globe.

Starting with just a hat and a hoodie, Rails has grown into full seasonal collections. Loved by celebrities and tastemakers, the brand has come to define a new classic heritage and easy sophistication.

Innovation and craftsmanship

The real turning point for Rails Clothing came with the creation of the Hunter shirt. At a time when most shirts on the market were using a stiff cotton fabrication, Jeff saw the opportunity to create something that combined style, comfort and luxury by creating a unique Rayon blended fabric that felt almost like cashmere.

Rails have now expanded to over 30 countries and sell at top international retailer. Yet the founding core values of craftsmanship and quality mean they continue, ever season, to deliver incredible collections made from custom fabric.
